UPSET! 1982 Brewers (16) stun the 1998 Yankees (1) 8 games to 6

In a shocker, The 82 Brewers beat the 1 seed 1998 Yankees 8 games to 6.  They stayed with the Yankees the whole series and kept bouncing back when it looked like the Yankees were gaining control back.  Not sure how far they'll go from here but they got the stunner of the tourney!

Started slow but 1927 Yankees (1) beat the 1920 Indians (16) 8 games to 3

If this was a best of 5 series, the Indians of 1920 would have upset the 27 Yankees.  But after being down 3 games to 2 and held to only 20 runs in 5 games, the Yankees explode for scores of 8,9,14 and 11 and end up winning the last 6 games to win 8 games to 3.  Babe Ruth was no where to be seen, not one game MVP.  Gehrig had 1 MVP and arguably 2 but the big guys to step up were Pat Collins and Matt Koenig with 5 mvps among them.

1942 Cards(5) come back for victory over the 1923 Yankees(12) 8 games to 7

Down 4 games to 0 and down 7 games to 6, the Cardinals of 1942 come back to beat Babe Ruth's 1923 Yankees.  LEd by Stan Musial and Mort Cooper, The Cards would not go down but kept battling back.  Five of the first 7 games were one run games, it was an incredible series.

As predicted, the 1906 Cubs were way too much to handle for the 1918 RedSox.  Their pitching was way too much.  In one stretch from games 5 through 8, the Cubs gave up 1 ER, which included 3 shutouts.  Their offense came alive too in the final few games once they went to Fenway.  These Cubs will be a force to deal with.
