In our first series going 15 games, the A's hang on to win the series on the 62 Giants 8 games to 7. The A's had leads of 4 games to 1 and 7 games to 5 but the Giants kept battling back. Catfish Hunter picks up wins in games 12 and 15 to clinch it for the A's.
