(8) 1942 Yankees over the (9) 1936 Giants 8 games to 0 SWEEP!

The 1942 Yankees take apart the 1936 Giants 8 games to 0.  Charlie Keller leads the way by getting MVP in 3 of the games and becomes the series MVP.  Keller had 3 games of going 3 for 4, once going 4 for 5 and once going 2 for 4.  A few other Yankees had some nice games inclduing Buddy Hassett and Jerry Priddy.  These Yankees look real tough going into round 2 verse potentially the #1 seed overall, the 1927 Yankees.

Games:
1. Yankees-2 Giants-0 MVP-Tiny Bonham 8IP 0 ER for the win.  Henrich drives in both runs.
2. Yankees-11 Giants-1 MVP-Charlie Keller 3 for 4 scores 4 runs 1 HR.  Henrich drives in 3 more runs and Dimaggio goes 3 for 5 with 2 R and 2 RBIs.
3. Yankees-8 Giants-5 MVP-Tommy Henrich 2 for 4 with 3 RBI's.  Priddy and Hasset also get 3 hits.
4.  Yankees-3 Giants-1 MVP - Phil Rizzuto 3 for 4 with 2 runs.  Keller drives in 2 RBI's.
5. Yankees-4 Giants-3 12 Innings  MVP-Charlie Keller 4 for 5, 2 runs, 2 RBI;s including the winning run.  Dimaggio 3 for 5 with 2 RBI's.
6. Yankees-6 Giants-4 MVP-Buddy Hassett 2 for 4 with 3 RBI's.  Keller goes 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's.
7. Yankees-8 Giants-3 MVP-Charlie Keller 3 for 4 with 3 RBI's.  Bill Dickey also goes 3 for 4.
8. Yankees-11 Giants 6 MVP-Jerry Priddy 4 for 5 with 2 RBIs.  Keller and Hassett go 3 for 4 with 3 RBI's.  Ruffing pitches 7 innings with 1 ER for the win.
